TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT BETWEEN BOOKING ENGINE AND GUESTS
INTRODUCTION
These terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time apply to all our services directly or indirectly made available online, through any mobile service, by email or by telephone, by accessing browsing and using our website or any our application through whatever platform and or by competing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
PROHIBITION
Our Barter Bed platform is made available for personal and non commercial use only. Therefore you are not allowed to resell, deep link, use, copy, monitor, display, download or reproduce any content or information, software, reservation, points, product or services available on our platform for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.
PRICES, RATES AND PAYMENTS
The prices and rates offered by the service providers on Barter Bed Platform are highly recommended and competitive. We as a system provider have no involvement in rates and prices but we handle the role of monitoring, supervising and negotiating processes to provide a win-win situation to both customers and service providers.
All prices displayed by the service providers in the platform are totally managed by their own ways and no interference by the Barter Bed and customers may have to take the responsibility of booking such a hotel or destination.
Confirmation of booking and reservation process will be monitored by the Barter Bed and provide a system assistant to confirm, cancel, change or other needed arrangements within a time frame through the Barter Bed Platform.
All taxes, service charges and any kind of related payments of booking or reservations shall be made by the purchaser/customer under the rules and regulations and service providers may provide all information to the customers prior to the arrivals.
In the event of a no-show or cancellation the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd will charge their applicable fees. Any search and check on relevant product or service conditions and reservation details is a responsibility of the customer.
All payments can be made by cash, card or any other method chosen by the parties and the service fees for the platform shall be credited to the nominated account of the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd.
The currency converter is for information purpose only and should not be relied upon as accurate and real-time actual rates may vary.
Obvious errors and mistakes (pointing or other...) are not binding.
Service fees and other charges of the Barter Bed Platform may be announced from time to time and the service provider and customers are liable to follow the payment schedule as remaining for the period.
The payment policies of the service provider are applicable for the booking and reservation and customers should follow the correct and comfortable way of their concern.
REMARKS, CORRESPONDENCE AND COMMUNICATION
All reservations and bookings are subject to confirmation 15 days prior to the date fixed and no confirmation or finalizing the bookings may provide provisions to absolve service provider from responsibilities.
All correspondence and communication will be arranged through the Barter Bed Platform initially and further the needed communication facilities will be provided between service provider and customer subject to the agreed conditions through the platform.
Barter Bed disclaims any liability or responsibility for any communication defaults with the service provider and the customer on or through the platform.
RANKING AND REVIEWS
Accommodation star ratings and/or other reviews for service providers by the customers are separately considered as private earnings of the service provider for their hospitality. No involvements or assessment by the Barter Bed for the process of review or ranking.
As a competitive marketer the Barter Bed will reserve the rights to cancel or discontinue the registration of service providers when considering the reviews and comments by the customers entered through the Barter Bed Platform.
PRIVACY
Barter Bed respects your privacy and it will remain by the company as a private property of the customers and service providers.
DISCLAIMER
Subject to the limitations set out in these terms and conditions and extent permitted by law the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd will only be liable for direct damage actually suffered due to our obligations in respect to our services.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Guaranteed reservations without paying any charges can be canceled within 14 days from the booking date. In case of cancellation guest should log into our system and they can proceed the cancellation through the system of Bartabed.com at any time. In the delayed reservation cancellation or After 14 days of booking, we are not agree to refund the 10% advance payment at any condition.
RETURN POLICY
In the process of booking, the guest have to make a 10% of the total amount as the advance payment for reservations. When the guest planned to cancel the booking before 14 days from the check-in date we agree to refund 100% of advance payment without making any charges.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING
Bookings can be made via our booking system of Bartabed.com by filling the necessary information we required. To book a hotel the guest must provide details of hotel name, accommodation period and contact details clearly. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard for the payment. It is possible to book a hotel only by making advance payment of 10% of full amount and payment is charged from the guest’s card when the day booking is made.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless stated otherwise, the software required for our services or available at or used by our platform and the intellectual property rights of the content and information of and material on our platform are owned by Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd. Barter Bed exclusively retains ownership of all rights, title, interests in and to the platform on which the service is made available and you are not entitled to copy, scrape, link to, publish, promote, market, integrate, utilize, combine or otherwise use the content or our brand without our expressed written permission.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and the provision of our services on the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law and Procedure of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN BOOKING ENGINE AND HOTELIERS
DEFINITIONS
"Service Provider" means any individual, Hotel, Institution or unit which is registered under Barter Bed Platform to provide any kind of products or services for the customers who are searching through the Barter Bed Platform.
SCOPE AND NATURE OF SERVICES
Through the Barter Bed platform, We provide an online platform through which services provided in their professional conduct of business can advertise, sell, promote and/or offer their product and service for order, purchase, reservation, rent or hire and through which relevant visitors of the platform can discover, search, compare and make an order reservation or purchase using or utilizing the Barter Bed Platform.
When rendering our services the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by the service provider as such the service provider that market and promote their service or product on the platform are given access to our systems and they are fully responsible for updating all rates, fees, prices, availability policies, condition and other relevant information that gets displayed on our platform.
INDEMNITY
Although we will use our reasonable skill and care in performing our service, we will not verify and cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, complete or correct nor can we be held responsible for any errors any interruptions (due to any break down, repair, upgrade or maintenance of our platform or otherwise), inaccurate misleading or untrue information, nor Non-delivery of information. Each service provider remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the information displayed on our platform. our platform does not constitute as should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, service level qualification, rating or type of accommodation of any service provider.
REGISTRATION
Barter Bed introduces two types of registration criteria
1. pay on arrivals
2. special point system
Any service provider is willing to register under Barter Bed platform; they should be registered in both ways at once.
(1) Pay on arrivals:
A. The customer or a visitor when placing a booking or order through our platform to which any selected service provider the customer/visitor shall make the payment only their arrivals to service or product according to the prior agreement between the parties.
B. Any service provider registered under the Bater Bed platform has no rights to collect or request for payment from a customer or a visitor before his or her arrivals to the scheduled destination
The operations of special point system is limited for only among the dully registered membership
PRICES, RATES AND PAYMENTS

REMARKS, CORRESPONDENCE, AND COMMUNICATION
Any registered service provider has no restrictions to engage with any other company or platform apart from the Barter Bed and no right to use or utilize the facility provided by the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd to conduct businesses with any third party other than the Barter Bed Platform.

DISCLAIMER
Any information, photograph or other relevant items published in Bareter Bed web site under the name of the service providers any hotels or destinations are totally handled by the owners of the product and service. Therefore no responsibility by barter bed (pvt0ltd for accuracy or correctness of the publications.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and the provision of our services on the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law and Procedure of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Any dispute arising out of these general terms and conditions, and our services shall exclusively be submitted to the competent courts in Sri Lanka.

BARTER BED AND SUPPORTERS AND AGENTS
Barter Bed Platform service is rendered by Bater Bed (pvt) Limited incorporated under the companies act of Sri Lanka as a Limited Liability company.
BOOKING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TRAVEL ENGINE AND HOTELIERS
This Booking Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for listing hotel properties on our platform. By listing a property, the hotelier agrees to comply with the following requirements and responsibilities:
1. Property Information and Listings
1.1 All property details, including descriptions, facilities, location, images, pricing, and availability, must be accurate and truthful.
1.2 Photos displayed on the website must be of the actual hotel; no unrelated or misleading images are allowed.
1.3 The booking calendar must be updated daily, ensuring that only available rooms are displayed for bookings.
1.4 We reserve the right to review and approve listings before they are published. Property details, images, and descriptions may be used for promotional purposes.
2. Booking Management and Guest Interactions
2.1 Guest bookings must be responded to promptly to ensure a smooth reservation process.
2.2 The facilities listed on the website must be available in the booked room. Additional facilities may be provided, but no listed facilities should be missing.
2.3 If a booked room becomes unavailable due to an emergency, an equivalent alternative must be arranged within the hotel. If no such option is available, the hotelier must provide similar accommodation in the area.
2.4 Guests must be treated with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
3. Pricing and Payments
3.1 The room price charged must not exceed the rate listed on the website.
3.2 The remaining 90% of the bill should be collected at check-in.
3.3 We reserve the right to withhold payments in case of disputes or policy violations.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1 Refunds will be processed according to the cancellation policy.
4.2 We reserve the right to issue refunds on behalf of the hotel in case of guest complaints or force majeure events.
4.3 Guest complaints regarding facilities will be reviewed, and if deemed valid, a refund may be recommended, which the hotel cannot reject.
5. Legal and Compliance Obligations
5.1 Hoteliers must comply with all local laws, including taxation and safety regulations.
5.2 The hotelier is responsible for guest interactions, check-ins, and dispute resolutions.
5.3 The property must be well-maintained and safe for guests.
5.4 The hotelier agrees to indemnify us against any claims, damages, or losses arising from failure to comply with laws or obligations.
5.5 We are not liable for any damage, injury, or loss suffered by guests at the property.
6. Suspension or Termination
6.1 We may suspend or remove a listing in case of repeated guest complaints, fraudulent activity, or policy violations.
6.2 Hoteliers may terminate their listing at any time by notifying us in writing.
6.3 Hoteliers acknowledge that in situations where both parties are dissatisfied with the proposed solution, the travel booking site reserves the right to make the final decision.
By listing a property on our platform, the hotelier agrees to abide by these terms to ensure a high-quality experience for guests and maintain the integrity of our booking service.
