TERMS AND CONDITIONS
INTRODUCTION
These terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time apply to all our services directly or indirectly made available online, through any mobile service, by email or by telephone, by accessing browsing and using our website or any our application through whatever platform and or by competing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
Definitions
"BATER BED" "US' WE' or 'OUR' means BARTER BED (PVT) LTD a company duly incorporated under the companies Act. NO 7 of 2007 in Sri Lanka as having its registered office Sri Lanka.
"PLATFORM" Means the web site and App on which the service made available owned, controlled, managed, maintained and or hosted by Barter Bed.
"Services" means any Services or product provided by the Barter Bed to their customers, and registered persons or institutions as service providers under the Barter Bed platform.
Service Provider" means any individual, Hotel, Institution or unit which is registered
under Barter Bed Platform to provide any kind of products or services for the customers
who are searching through the Barter Bed Platform.
"Service Reservation" means the order, purchase, booking or reservation of a service or product.
SCOPE AND NATURE OF SERVICES
Through the Barter Bed platform, We provide an online platform through which services provided in their professional conduct of business can advertise, sell, promote and/or offer their product and service for order, purchase, reservation, rent or hire and through which relevant visitors of the platform can discover, search, compare and make an order reservation or purchase using or utilizing the Barter Bed Platform.
When rendering our services the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by the service provider as such the service provider that market and promote their service or product on the platform are given access to our systems and they are fully responsible for updating all rates, fees, prices, availability policies, condition and other relevant information that gets displayed on our platform
INDEMNITY
Although we will use our reasonable skill and care in performing our service, we will not verify and cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, complete or correct nor can we be held responsible for any errors any interruptions (due to any break down, repair, upgrade or maintenance of our platform or otherwise), inaccurate misleading or untrue information, nor Non-delivery of information. Each service provider remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the information displayed on our platform. our platform does not constitute as should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, service level qualification, rating or type of accommodation of any service provider.
PROHIBITION
Our Barter Bed platform is made available for personal and non commercial use only Therefore you are not allowed to resell, deep link, use, copy, monitor, display, download or reproduce and content or information, software, reservation, points, product or services available on our platform for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.
REGISTRATION
Barter Bed introduces two types of registration criteria
1.pay on arrivals
2.special point system
Any service provider is willing to register under Barter Bed platform; they should be registered in both ways at once.
1.Pay on arrivals:
A. The customer or a visitor when placing a booking or order through our platform to which any selected service provider the customer/visitor shall make the payment only their arrivals to service or product according to the prior agreement between the parties.
B Any service provider registered under the Bater Bed platform has no rights to collect or request for payment from a customer or a visitor before his or her arrivals to the scheduled destination
In the event of booking is made through an Travel Agent (upon payment) and if such booking is cancelled by the customer within the time limit as stated above the customer shall not be entitled to any refund but shall be entitled to points equivalent to the payment already made may sell such points through Barter Bed (Pvt) Limited. In such event Barter Bed (Pvt) Limited shall charge 10% service charge.
Upon the cancellation is made on points and in such event the customer shall be entitled to cancel the same by the company upon a service charge which company imposed from time to time
2.Special point System
The special point system is a method where the service provider customer and the Bater bed are making transactions by using points
A). Any individual, hotel or any other relevant institution shall be registered under this system to obtain facilities from the Barter Bed Platform apart from the pay on arrivals.
(B). If the service provider owns two or more hotels or institutions they can be registered under one account or separate accounts as their wish and no registration fees will be charged.
(C). Any registered institute under special point system shall reserve a one hotel room for any 3 days per month to cater accommodation for nominated visitors or guests by the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd.
(D). The above reservation shall be maintained for minimum one year to utilize for the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd as Bater bed recommendation.
(E). Any changes regarding reservation details, the Hotel management of the service provider has a right to change the reservation dates before any booking by the customer or visitor but not change after confirmation of the booking.
(F). At any time the customer or visitor can cancel or change their reservation er-bookings even under a special point system. be
(G). Every one dollar shall equal one point and under the method of the special point system the payment shall be exchanged only as points, not as cash or equivalent.
(H). The service providers (Hoteliers) shall be given guarantee for equal hospitality to the guests, visitors or customers booking under the special point system by the Barter Bed Platform.
(I). The service provider (Hotel Management) has a right to reserve more than minimum quota (3 days per month) as their own way and also has a right to cancel the same.
(J). Booking or room reservation can be canceled before 15 days by the customer and any cancelations without time limits, the service provider will be benefited to add that reserved points to their Accounts by paying fees entitled for Barter Bed.
(K). First time visitor's booking through the special point system shall purchase their points from the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd and the service providers payments will be obtained as points from the Barter Bed. No service charge or fees for points purchasing procedure.
(L). All collection of points by the hotel or any institution will be valid for 3 years and within the time limits relevant points shall use, sell or dispose of the service providers. No provision for utilizing the expired points as exchange proceeds through the Barter bed Platform. No compensation will be paid by the Barter Bed for expired points without payon arriva points.l
(M). Any Room reservation, points sale or other services the Barter Bed will charge their fees at the time of the reservation or sale.
(N). Any hotelier or service provider can do the reservation for their own use through the point system and they can utilize the available points which they earned from the Barter Bed Platform.
(0). Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd will organize the point sale auction and will do the marketing for sale proceeds of the parties from time to time when needed. Any hotelier or a service provider registered under the system can sell or purchase the points under that procedure and 10% from the sale will be charged by the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd as their service charge.
(P). Any registered hotel owner can use their points for their nominees while introducing such nominees to the relevant booking place prior to the reservation.
(0) Any registered service provider can exit from the point system giving 15 (Q). days prior notice to the Barter bed Platform and nor validity for any compensation or payment by the Barter Bed on that withdrawal of the special point system.
(R). Any service provider has no right to value the points more than given criteria by the Barter Bed and if any, the Barter Bed has a right to cancel the points which they earned through the platform and/or erase the name from the registered service provider list.
(s). Any cancelation of a registration or point system membership by the Barter Bed is final and conclusive. No compensation or payment is entitled by the service providers. The decision solely depends on barter Bed (pvt) Ltd.
(t) The operations of special point system is limited for only among the dully registered membership
PRICES, RATES AND PAYMENTS
The prices and rates offered by the service providers on Barter Bed Platform are highly recommended and competitive. We as a system provider have no involvement frates and prices but we handle the role of monitoring, supervising and negotiating processes to provide a win-win situation to both customers and service providers.
All prices displayed by the service providers in the platform are totally managed by their own ways and no interference by the Barter Bed and customers may have to take the responsibility of booking such a hotel or destination
Confirmation of booking and reservation process will be monitored by the Barter Bed and provide a system assistant to confirm, cancel, change or other needed arrangements within a time frame through the Barter Bed Platform.
All taxes, service charges and any kind of related payments of booking or reservations shall be made by the purchaser/customer under the rules and regulations and service providers may provide all information to the customers prior to the arrivals.
In the event of a no show or cancellation the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd will charge their Applicable fees. Any search and check on relevant product or service conditions and reservation details is a responsibility of the customer.
All payments can be made by cash, card or any other method chosen by the parties and the service fees for the platform shall be credited to the nominated account of the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd.
The currency converter is for information purpose only and should not be relied upon as accurate and real-time actual rates may vary.
Obvious errors and mistakes (pointing or other...) are not binding.
Service fees and other charges of the Barter Bed Platform may be announced from time to time and the service provider and customers are liable to follow the payment schedule as remaining for the period.
The payment policies of the service provider are applicable for the booking and reservation and customers should follow the correct and comfortable way of their concern.
REMARKS, CORRESPONDENCE AND COMMUNICATION.
Any registered service provider has no restrictions to engage with any other company or platform apart from the Barter Bed and no right to use or utilize the facility provided by the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd to conduct businesses with any third party other than the Barter Bed Platform.
No right to collect money or payment before the arrival of the customer by the service provider and if any will consider going against the rules and regulations of the Barter Bed Platform.
All reservations and bookings are subject to confirmation the 15 days prior to the date fixed and no confirmation or finalizing the bookings may provide provisions to absolve service provider from responsibilities..
All correspondence And communication will be arranged through the Barter Bed Platform initially and further the needed communication facilities will be provided between service provider and customer subject to the agreed conditions through the platform.
Barter Bed disclaims any liability or responsibility for any communication defaults with the service provider and the customer on or through the platform.
RANKING AND REVIEWS
Accommodation star ratings and or other reviews for service providers by the customers are separately considered as private earnings of the service provider for their hospitality. No involvements or assessment by the Barter Bed for the process of review or ranking
As a competitive marketer the Barter Bed will reserve the rights to cancel or discontinue the registration of service providers when considering the reviews and comments by the customers entered through the Barter Bed Platform.
PRIVACY
Barter Bed respects your privacy and it will remain by the company as a private property of the customers and service providers.
DISCLAIMER
Subject to the limitations set out in these terms and conditions and extent permitted by law the Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd will only be liable for direct damage actually suffered due to our obligations in respect to our services.
Any information, photograph or other relevant items published in Bareter Bed web site under the name of the service providers any hotels or destinations are totally handled by the owners of the product and service. Therefore no responsibility by barter bed (pvt0ltd for accuracy or correctness of the publications.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless stated otherwise, the software requires our services or available at or used by our platform and the intellectual property rights of the content and information of and material on our platform are owned by Barter Bed (pvt) Ltd. Barter Bed exclusively retains ownership of all rights, title, interests in and to the platform on which the service is made available and you are not entitled to copy, scarpe link to publish, promote, market, integrate, utilize, combine or otherwise use the content or our brand without our expressed written permission.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and the provision of our services on the platføren shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law and Procedure of the Democratic Socialist Republic Of Sri Lanka.
Any dispute arising out of these general terms and conditions, and our services shall exclusively be submitted to the competent courts in Sri Lanka.
BARTER BED AND SUPPORTERS AND AGENTS
Barter Bed Platform service is rendered by Bater Bed (pvt) Limited incorporated under the companies act of Sri Lanka as a Limited Liability company.
Bater bed (pvt) Itd do not operate and are not authorized to act as any form or process or services agent of Barter Bed. Barter Bed does not accept near assume any disclaimed at any place, location or office in the world other than its registered office in Sri Lanka, If any office or agent established by the company will announce and inform through the platform sooner after the new change.

Return policy
In the process of booking, The guest have to make a 10% of the total amount as the advance payment for reservations. When the guest planned to cancel the booking before 14 days from the check-in date we agree to refund 100% of advance payment without making any charges.
Cancellation policy
Guaranteed reservations without paying any charges can be canceled within 14 days from the booking date. In case of cancellation guest should log into our system and they can proceed the cancellation through the system of Bartabed.com at any time. In the delayed reservation cancellation or After 14 days of booking, we are not agree to refund the 10% advance payment at any condition.
Terms and conditions
Bookings can be made via our booking system of Bartabed.com by filling the necessary information we required. To book a hotel the guest must be provide details of Hotel name accommodation period and contact details clearly. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard for the payment. It is possible to book a hotel only by making advance payment of 10% of full amount and payment is charge from the guest’s cards when the day booking is made.
